Sarum, the old city of Salisbury (July 11, 1999), is in the area of Stonehenge and is one of the earliest cities on England.  A very interesting book, entitled Sarum, portrays a fictional, but historically accurate depiction of the development of the area from earliest man to today.  A very interesting read.  The last two photos below show where the cathedral was built and to where it was moved and still remains.
